Sat tutoring in NYC

Studying for the SAT is not a joke. It's hard and not everyone gets 2400 in their SAT. The average score comes out to be around just 1600. The main reason I started this blog was to help other students like me to get better results in their sat.

What is the most frustrating part of taking sat is that someone dumber than you can get a 2400 and you have to be satisfied with 2000. This test is not totally fair and there are ways to go around and cheat collegeboard in getting better marks. But the tricks to get 2400 are not there out in the public. Even the best publications like princeton review and kaplan don't tell everything to you and leave a hole in the knowledge. This hole can be filled by the tutors that have been teaching students to take sat every year. They are the ones that know all the secrets and shortcuts to getting a better result. And if you don't want to waste your time studying the guide books it will be wiser that you get help from a local tutor in you area. Why local? If you go to any institutions and seek for help they will charge you more. But local teacher will not only charge you less but also they will have one on one interaction and these teachers are also more likely to help than the professionals.

I have collected a list of local tutoring sites that are in NYC.

Ivy League Tutors  All the tutors are ivy league students or graduates.

wyzant  Provides independent tutors around your area. Tutors give their hourly rate and the site takes a percentage of that.
